Benjamin
E. (Woody) Price, Jr., President, is an experienced manager, researcher,
planner, and consultant. Woody brings to his leadership of PKV nearly
three decades of service in local, regional, state and academic agencies.
Graduating from Florida State University in 1971, he has focused on information
and knowledge management in complex inter-organizational environments.
His special expertise lies in assessing and enhancing the way information
management affects the performance of organizations. Recent projects include
an enterprise-level e-government permitting system for the Florida State
Technology Office and Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP); a
knowledge system for supervisory discipline assistance in FDEP; a knowledge
system, MiLo, for the Florida Institute of Phosphate Research to
protect and refurbish specialized expertise for chemical processing in
the fertilizer industry; and concept design of a knowledge system for
performance management in Santa Clara County, CA. Woody co-authored with
Dr. Richard Feiock "Development Management: "Growth Management and Economic
Development" that appeared in The Florida Public Policy Management
System: Growth and Reform, Dr. R. Chakerian, editor (1994). He is
a member of the Academy of Management and American Institute of Certified
Planners.
